Background: Dorothy comes from a long line of medical personel. Throughout her lineage, the women of her family have been persuing the medical career for as far back as the blood-line could be traced, beit as a mid-wife, nurse, veternarian, doctor, or surgeon. Dorothy's mother is a retired retired OB Nurse, who now liesurly works in a pain clinic as a massage therapist. Her father was a surgeon, specializing in the brain, but passed on at the age of 88, well after he retired. Dorothy has two sisters and one brother, all having pursued careers in the medical field. Dorothy came to Cherry Hollow shortly after it reopened, having befriended Naomi Graves while working at Shadey Grove.

Personality: Although some patients think she is a bit cold, Dorothy is simply doing her job. She can be firm, but is always fair. She is in charge of distributing medicines daily, but also works in other areas of the hospital. She is good friends with Alden Burns, and the two occassionally arrange for field trips for their cares. Dorothy isn't all that bad when it comes down to it.

Dorothy Benton is not a real person. She is a fictional character created for amplified_rpg. Katrin Cartlidge, may she rest in pease is the actress in the icons, and we respect her very much and are in no way trying to offend her memory.
